Ethan is becoming more and more like his parents. One of his favorite cartoons is Scooby Doo. On a daily basis he would tell me, "Mommy I wanna watch Dooby Doo." Yup he pronounces it Dooby Doo. Mind you, he is only 3, born in the 2000's, and he knows Scooby Doo!That has got to be one of my favorite cartoons growing up, right next to the Smurfs and Alvin and the Chipmunks. He likes watching Gremlins. Yes I said it, GREMLINS!! He gets a kick out of the little critters trying to terrorize the town. He likes to think he is one of the Gremlins himself, even though it scares him a bit. He loves the movie. Just recently we bought the Ghostbusters. He was totally enthralled. He liked the giant Marshmallow walking down downtown NY. Seriously, what kid likes watching these shows. I have such a cool kid!!

Today we went to Griffith Park with Deo's lil family and friends. We spent a good 1/2 hour just watching Ethan and Aubrie running up and down the hill. It was funny seeing Aubrie trying to catch up to Ethan. Ethan just stands at the top of the hill cheering Aubrie on. I could remember going to this same park as a little kid, running up the hill and only to roll down with the cousins. Good times!!! Now as adults we make the same memories except we are our parents and our kids are now us. Funny as that sounds, I envy their youth and carefreeness. What can we really do about that? Just enjoy life and keep family close.
